The life of Taira Tsunayoshi, a hardworking taxi driver, is humdrum. But one of those days will be different when this blood-soaked, rain-damp guy got into his taxi and asked to be driven to Biei, a town on the northern island of Hokkaido. Taira was first startled by this strange traveler. One night, after spending the night in a motel, the chancer of the couple proposes an unplanned “hook-up.” So begins a dreamy, tense story of a brusque taxi driver who gets along with a mystery, attractive stranger.
